Originally delivering wine from a basket on a bicycle throughout Knightsbridge and Chelsea for Partridges of Sloane Street, Drew studied for his wine exams and learnt the trade from the shop floor. Senior roles have included the Wine Manager at the Sunday Times Wine Club, UK Director at the Wine Institute of California, Head of Buying for Wines, Beers and Spirits at Harrods, and for three decades as a much-respected judge for the International Wine Challenge competition.
